96 Polaris Explorer 300 Problems. I have a 96 explorer 300 that was starting fine and one day I shut it off and it would not start by the starter. All I heard was clicking coming from the sylinoid. It started fine by pull starting it. I installed a new sylinoid and still had the same problem. I bought a new battery and still have the same problem.

Long story short I have no history of the quads previous runnability, but I did rebuild the carburetor with a kit. I have no previous experience with carburetors, so this is a learning curve. I have 75 PSI when cranking and it went to 80 PSI after putting a few drops of oil in the cylinder. Then the starter went bad, so it sat for a week until i got the new starter in. I had to remove the beltcase and also the flywheel on the other side of the motor, so that I could get the new starter motor and gear in.
